The Surf & Turf Saga - Pt 6 of 7

The Surf & Turf  - Part 6

As the Saga continues, and as we wander across fields and mountains, or dive through salt sprays and waterfalls, we are reminding you of our monthly dare.

The Surf and Turf  means if it is land or water, we want to feature it.

Show us what you can create for either Surf, Turf or a combination of both.

Claudia

Has your prince already come along? Well, mine luckily has (and he's no whale of course...giggle). But let's talk Emerald Creek business: I used the wonderful "blue whale" stamp from Emerald Creek's awesome "Native Art" collection and several EC embossing enamels alongside a lot of Distress stains and inks to create my little fun art journaling page. My son loves sea creatures and has been wanting to become a marine biologist from the very start - so whales have been his favourites since he was little (especially the humpback whale and sperm whale) and honestly I love them too. Imagine my little boy diving in the ocean and meeting one of these amazing animals eye to eye!!!! That's something I wish for him to happen - that he will meet his prince of whales. ;)

I will now continue to brag on about my team. I love them, I feel they are the best and since all of them are on other awesome teams, I know others agree, that these ladies are the best.

Today it is all about Claudia. She is currently the longest running member on our team. Her ability to stay true to her mixed media art style, while incorporating many of the EC products, always blows my mind. She is truly a delight and an inspiration. She is so valued on my team, that if ever the time comes where life pulls us apart, I will be so sad. Luckily, there is no need for her to be leaving any time soon. I already have plans for her in the fall and don't miss seeing her projects in any of our tradeshow booths. These masterful pieces of art must be experienced live and tend to appear almost every where I go. :)

Claudia, it is hard to choose a favourite piece from you but the one I do hold dear was my custom Wonder Woman logo you made for me last September out of embossing powder. It will be forever placed on my wall. Thank you!

  1. Aw, Kim! Thank you so much for your kind words (I even teared up a little reading about how much you appreciate my work)! Let me just say that I love being on your DT and having the pleasure to create with your awesome products - your embossing powders are divine and I also love all the other stuff from your range. You are one of the bestest bosses I have ever had the luck and pleasure to work under! Big big hug! Mwah! XXX Claudia
