Remembering Family

I'm dedicating a second post to My Family of Heroes.

I started with the Eileen Hull Passport Book. All I can say is thank you Eileen. This die is what fully inspired the tribute piece.

Once I knew what I wanted to present I got to work collecting the photos from our family history.

Next I sketched up Grandpas face and got it to a size I thought would work to fit his navy picture into the eye.

then I started covering pages, inking the spine and covering more pages.

There was a hiccup when one of the insert pages broke, but I wasnt starting over so a quick mend and I was back at it.

Then I arranged the photos and cut, tore, crumpled, watered and inked them

Then off to figure out a mirage of embellishments and stick it all together.

And when we were done this was the result...

REMEMBERED . LOVED . HONOURED

Don't forget to enter your Tribute pieces, whatever they may be on the Remember the Fallen Dare.
